Judging from the clothing, the fact that the picture was taken in Middelburg Holland and the prominent place in the album we are probably looking at Honoré Louis Bergeyron (1783-1870; and Anna Maria Klamberg(*1786 The Hague). Believed to be photographic copies of traditional portrets. Fashion indicates 1835-1840.

Believed to be another brother of Adéle, Jozeph Philippe Henri Bergeyron (1812-1868), as his father Consul of the Netherlands in Cette.

Picture taken in Amsterdam. Signed Simon Thomas. Believed to be Jean Charles "Simon Thomas" (1818-1874) married 1850 to Carolina Frederika Gehne daughter of Carl F. and Sara H. C. Klamberg. He was agent of the Dutch Trading Comp. in the Dutch Indies.

The picture of the woman, believed to be Carolina Frederika Gehne (1818-1848) and the two children are taken in the same studio (carpet,furniture) in Breda. Caroline has lived there part of here life.

Text: For Karel v(an) Brink from Auguste Simon Thomas 12-10-'69. Auguste Alexandrine Cornelie Simon Thomas (1853-1932) married her nephew Karel Antoon van Brink (1857-1913) in 1883 son of Cornelis and Johanna Jacobina Gehne in Tegal Dutch Indies.

These two pictures are taken by C.K. Louran Jr(?) Java. The Gehne-Klamberg family moved to Java around 1842 hence it may well be one of their daughters with her husband but which one ?

Carel August Wijnaendts (1843-1874), son of Jacob and Georgine Wolphelina Françoise List, government controller in Java, married in Java 1869 Elisabeth Jacoba Christina van der Eb, daughter of Christiaan van der Eb (1816-1851) and Johanna Jacobina Gehne. His widow married Cornelis van Brink

Loose photo made in Rotterdam. The woman is Mrs Wijnaendt-van der Eb, daughter of Christiaan and Johanna Jacobina Gehne. The children look the same as nr 11_a and 11_b

Based on a subscript on same picture in the De Jongh archive from a Mary Ann , believed to be Coenraad Alxander de Jongh ,son of Erdwin Adrianus and Theodora Jordens, visiting his family in law the MacLachans on his way back from Java to the Netherlands in 1863. Donal MacLachan married his sister in law Amelia Frederika Gehne (*1821)

Picture made in Worthing South England (not far from Wight) while those of the two children are again from the Island of Wight. Is she a MacLachan relative ?

Donald de Jongh (1847-1902) Text: For my dear aunt. Souvenir from Donald de Jongh Antwerp, 19 may 186(5 ?). He was a son of Coenraad Alexander and Augusta Carolina Gehne.

An odd stamplike picture. Written on the side W.C. van Dijk Langenstr(aat) Utrecht and at the bottom LA 522. Maybe intended as exlibris. Fashion indicates 1890.
